This week I want to talk about Pilates.
Pilates is a method that helps you improve your body health through strength, elasticity, and pose. It also has an extensive variety of mental health benefits, using breath to manage your stress and increase your ability to relax.
Pilates can be performed by either men or women of all ages; but something that catch my attention about this method was all the benefits women experience when practicing Pilates while pregnant and after giving birth. For me, the best way to learn about this topic was meeting Ariana Dupar at her Doral Pilates Studio. She is a physical educator, ex-gymnast, and Pilates Master Teacher since 2005. I didn’t think twice when I got the opportunity to meet Ariana. It was a great experience. I learned a lot with her and I also practiced some exercises that left me wanting to come back.
